Marty is recognized as one of the top analysts about the pro wrestling game. The veteran wrestler/broadcaster has hosted live cards and voiced the action for 24 years across North America, including Lars Anderson's World League Wrestling and the legendary Bob Geigel's All Star Wrestling, for ECCW/NWA in BC and CPW/NWA in Los Angeles, and most recently for the innovative A.W.E. - Action Wrestling Entertainment on Netvidtv.com.
His work has included key positions in multimedia projects including the documentary BC Bodyslams and the book One Ring Circus about the wrestling life in the Pacific Northwest, and as a TV legislative reporter (Craig Broadcasting) and radio talk show host (CHUM Ltd.). His expertise was recognized by the government of Manitoba in 2003 when it hired Marty to research and author the groundbreaking "Study of Safety in Professional Wrestling in Manitoba", the first examination into legislation that governs ring specifications, training and overall safe practices in wrestling. |
