Well our first show went off pretty well. It was a great learning experience and next time we should be able to bring you an even better show. The PWC Office and the Hall its self think some one decided to call the City and the Fire Marshall to express their concerns about the show. The week before the show out of no where the fire department visited the hall 3 times, 4th time being right before the doors opened.
The Fire Marshall even said they were down specifically because of the show. They changed the halls legal capacity down to the exact number of 417 three hours from the beginning of the show. They claimed it was because the ring took up so much space. Luckily turn out for the event wasn�t as high as we expect or there would have been a lot of people turned away. So out of the 417 allowed we had 380 which I guess still after all of that puts the show at a near sell out.
We would like to thank the Fire Department, City Bylaw Inspectors, and the Vancouver Police department for coming down to address the concerns of who ever it was that had concerns that warranted these concerns. Every thing with the exception of a few minor suggestions, which we never knew about and judging by the other shows we have been to they don�t know of either. Every one who came in the check the building out was professional and friendly.
We would also like to thank Gio from Variety � the children�s charity for coming down.
We will work on getting you detailed results from the show, but in the mean time here are the quick results.
